THE ULTIMATE BODYWEIGHT GYM

What makes Freedomtrainer so good?
The Freedomtrainer system can be attached from one single point or from two separate points of contact. The straps are able to attach to tree limbs, beams, rafters or door jambs. The grips are much more durable than other grips and more comfortable to help prevent nerve damage. The grips are angle-adjustable to allow horizontal and vertical angles for triceps workouts with a hammer grip.
Can I adjust the height of the straps for pull-ups and push-ups?
The straps can reach floor level (depending on the height of the anchor) for push-ups and higher for pull-ups. Plus, you can do regular dips without interference like other straps. The straps are designed for 8-9 ft. ceilings.
How do they attach to my door?
There are two options
Option1- (Heavy door)-You open the door and slip the anchor over the door. Then, shut the door toward you making sure the door is shut tight and latched before using. Also, advise others that you are exercising and not to use the door.
Option 2- Attach the door gym (see picture) and hang freedomtrainer.
How strong are your straps?
We tested one strap and handle with cam-buckle to over 1400 lbs., this means the straps can handle 2800 lbs!
Do you provide suggested exercises?
Yes, the straps come with an exercise and instructional DVD.
Why are these straps so good for muscle size and strength?
Because of the vacillating effect. The straps have a tendency to move as you perform the exercises, this moving or vacillating causes the stabilizing muscles to work harder to control the movement. This is very critical for building maximum core strength and size.
You say core strength, what do you mean?
Technically, there are no stabilizing muscles per se'' in the body, it''s a misnomer describing the combined traditional muscles which work synergistically to stabilize the body, this combination is referred to as the core muscles, and their power or strength is the combined strength of several muscles working together. The strength of a person is only as strong as his weakest muscle. If your core is to be strong you must build your stabilizing muscles.
Don''t regular exercises build strength?
Yes. But to build maximum strength you must build your stabilizing muscles. You simply can not build them without destabilizing them. This is where the Freedomtrainer will really help you the most Their very purpose is to create an environment in which the muscles are destabilized. It really is a break-through in training science we all seek.
Are the straps for advanced fitness only?
No. They are designed to be used by beginners and advanced users. The resistance is light to heavy. For tall people and short. Men, women and kids. Also, very effective tool for rehabilitation. By changing the angle the weight is changed to your desire.
How do you anchor them?
Any strong overhead support will work. Exposed beams or rafters in a garage work well. Tree limbs are great if it is strong enough to hold your weight, the straps can be adjusted easily to be level with the ground. Pull up bars, monkey bars, or gym equipment like power racks work well too. The door anchors are great for travel or if you don''t have an overhead anchor, in which case you should only order the door gym.
